  A few weeks ago, my wife and I, along with two of our grandchildren (ages 5 and 11) went to the Duffy's Sports Grill of Boynton East located on Congress Avenue. It was a miserable experience!
  
  I understand when dealing with people, things can and do go wrong. How an organization handles adversity is what separates a good establishment from a poor one. Does management care for its clientele only when things are right and abandon them in times of the customer's need? Does management wish to resolve an issue properly or in the cheapest manner possible? If you are looking for all the negatives, welcome to Duffy's of Boynton East! Now let's look at the tale of the tape.
  
  We arrived at Duffy's on or about 5:15 PM on a Saturday night and were promptly seated. No wait time as they were not crowded. Our order was taken at approximately 5:30 and consisted of macaroni & cheese for the grandkids, a hamburger for my wife, and a Caesar salad for myself. Nothing extraordinary! Some twenty minutes later, our party had not been served our order. An inquiry to our server, resulted in our being "blown off". His response was,"The kitchen is slow in processing all orders." His response should have been, "I'll go check for you right away". Shortly thereafter, when other patrons who were seated after us were being served their meals, I knew something was terribly wrong.
  
  I now summoned our server with the specific instructions to go into the kitchen, determine the problem with our order, and report back to me. I was informed by our server that he had made a mistake. Our order was never submitted to the kitchen, he has informed the manager, and the manager would be visiting our table.
  
  When the manager arrived at our table, he stated that other orders were ahead of ours and it would take approximately another 15 to 20 minutes for us to be served. While we were to wait, he offered a free appetizer.
  
  I immediately instructed the manager that he personally was to go into the kitchen, instruct the kitchen that our order was to be processed immediately, bring our order to us, and "comp" the entire meal not merely an appetizer. The manager brought our food within 10 minutes. After that we were persona-non-grata. No one ever came to our table!
  
  While this situation could happen to anyone, is this the manor in which you wish to be treated? If yes, Duffy's is your kind of place.
